Who is Susan Pond?
I am YOUR LOCAL, NATIVE real estate agent. I am a 4th generation Coloradoan, born and raised here in Northern Colorado. I remember when these communities were small towns, where everyone knew each other. Much has changed through the years and I have witnessed those changes giving me the advantage in market knowledge.
Education is important to me. I graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, emphasis in Finance. I pursued an education in the field of a Master of Science in Business Administration at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, emphasis in Accounting and Taxation. As a Realtor®, within six months of becoming a real estate agent, I earned the Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation. I continue to take courses and seminars in Northern Colorado to improve my real estate skills.
My real estate experience over the years includes buying and selling Northern Colorado commercial properties; residential property in Longmont, Louisville, Jamestown and Loveland; investment properties in Greeley and Loveland area, and partnering in a land development project converting 12 acres into 21 residential lots in the Berthoud, Loveland area.
The entrepreneur spirit is a strong part of who I am, as the daughter of a Longmont farm family. I have been involved in small Northern Colorado businesses, taking them from infantile stage, moving them into successful, thriving businesses. As a Realtor®, my career initially started as Marketing Director for a team of Longmont agents. Within a short time, I moved into a salesperson position with Master Your Marketing, selling a coaching program from Colorado to real estate agents nationwide.
I ventured on my own in 2003 and became a real estate consultant with Keller Williams® and launched my career in my hometown, Longmont, Colorado. After 2 years, I expanded my market into Keller Williams® of Northern Colorado, encompassing Berthoud, Loveland, Fort Collins, Windsor, Severance, Eaton, Greeley, Frederick, Firestone, Longmont, Lyons, Allenspark, Estes Park, St. Vrain Canyon, Big Thompson Canyon, and Poudre Canyon. While with Keller Williams, I earned a Top Producing Sales Award every year. I was among the top 20% producing agents in Keller Williams of Northern Colorado with 200+ agents.
In December 2009, my entrepreneurial spirit became restless again. I left Keller Williams and opened up my own real estate business, Coming Home Real Estate. Since I have been a home agent for my entire career in real estate, the office did not change. Being in business for myself, I can offer more individualized, quality service to my clients.
